Hello everyone! We are very excited to get final preparations underway for next year's Semester. This blog will serve as one of the primary methods for students to interact with others, post questions, etc. We hope you find this a useful medium to that end. Once the Semester begins, we will turn this Blog largely over to you for official postings to your family and friends. Two or or so times each week, students will log on in Mastatal and Condon (assuming our power is not out!) and provide group updates.
As of right now, we have scheduled our first Missoula pre-course meeting for Thursday, November 12th at 4 pm at the Aerie office. At the meeting, we'll answer questions in-person and let you meet some of your fellow students. Those not in town will be able to Skype in and participate. This is not a mandatory event. Family and friends are welcome to attend.

2010 Semester in Wilderness Medicine
We hope Semester students will use this blog to communicate with each other about the course before it starts and communicate with their friends and family while we are in Costa Rica and Montana.
